Originally from Australia, Hanna moved to London over 9 years ago and comes from a professional background in dance and fitness instruction. Having always been interested in understanding the human mind/body connection she was inspired by a random thought back in 2013 to travel to India to study hatha yoga. On this first visit she spent 6 weeks in Rishikesh taking part in daily asana and pranayama practice, yogic philosophy and anatomy classes. She left being completely blown away by the true depth and complexity of yoga and has been living, breathing and teaching the practice ever since!
On her return to London in 2014, she began to teach public classes in various yoga studios and in gyms but quickly realised there was a desperate need for yoga to be brought into the corporate workplace where so many people suffer from being overly stressed and having bad posture from sitting all day. She started her own business, Hanna Campbell Yoga, which allowed her to teach private clients and corporate group sessions in the city. She then had the privilege of teaching on retreat in Sri Lanka at the Kandy Samadhi Centre in 2015 and recently spent 6 months teaching and working as a studio coordinator in Canada at Just Yoga Vancouver in 2018.
Hanna sees herself as not only a teacher but also a student of yoga. She is qualified in reiki and holistic massage therapy and hopes to continue to share and teach these healing traditions for many more years to come. She continues her own daily practice and regularly attends the many classes and workshops on offer in London.
