Capture the spirit of yoga in a clear and fun way in Portugal. In this retreat you will practice Artistic yoga, a dynamic and powerful system of yoga that combines ancient yogic techniques such as asanas, pranayama, bandhas, kriyas and mudras, with modern cardiovascular training and partner stretches. During this retreat you will practice on a physical and mental level. There is no better way to unwind, refresh, and rejuvenate.
The physical level involves flexibility, strength, and endurance as the primary goals, and the mental and spiritual levels focus on awareness of the body, alertness, and meditation, bringing a full transformation. With two hours of yoga in the morning and ninety minutes in the early evenings, you will have plenty of time to relax and enjoy the views, or hike and get to know the countryside. You will practice in a small group with experienced teachers to ensure you get ample individual attention, and the practices are open to all levels.
