I’ve been teaching yoga since 2013, with a focus on addictions and trauma. My teaching style, which I call Recovery Yoga, offers a safe, inclusive space for self-exploration. Through sharing, yoga, breathwork, and meditation, Recovery Yoga helps release inner blocks, calm the mind, soothe the nervous system, and enhance physical flexibility, allowing us to face whatever arises in each moment.

The word “yoga” comes from the Sanskrit yuj, meaning “to bind” or “to yoke.” It’s about uniting all aspects of ourselves—mind, body, and spirit—with our higher self, so we no longer feel disconnected.

In addition to yoga, I also offer sound healing using gongs and singing bowl.

Since completing my teacher training with Sivananda in India, I’ve continued to expand my knowledge through various courses and workshops. Below are my yoga qualifications and ongoing professional development:

  • Mastering the Addictive Personality – Kundalini training with Carolyn Cowan (2014-2015) (certification pending)
  • Y12SR Yoga of 12-Step Recovery – Four-day training with Nikki Myers (2015)
  • Embodied Yoga – Weekend introduction with Mark Walsh (2015)
